There is a soft spot in my heart for these kids. I\'ve always wanted to volunteer in Africa and recently decided I just need to do it!  So I booked a trip through i-to-i and got my airline ticket (woohoo! 19 hrs of flight time...yikes). This is already paid for, thanks to a bonus from work. What I want to do is be able to have enough funds to purchase school supplies, clothes, toys...whatever these kids need most while I\'m there...or even send a kid to school or help pay a teacher\'s wages.  I won\'t know what needs to be done until I get there, but I want to have the flexibility to really make a difference. So I need your help.  100% of your donation will go straight to those in need. No middle man, no organization that needs to get paid too. It\'s just me.  I\'ll be right there- and you will get a report back of how your $ changed some lives!

Why spend the money to go over there when I could just send them money?  Money doesn\'t replace a hug, or a lap to sit on. Money doesn\'t give these kids more individual attention.  Money doesn\'t look them in the eyes and tell them they can do whatever they dream of doing and that they are loved.  That\'s why I\'m going.

My journey began the day I booked this trip.  I know this will be a life changing experience for me, and I hope to make a difference for at least one of those beautiful smiling faces.Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
