Dear Family and Friends,

Our Son, Christopher, is currently a freshman in High School.  Up to this point in his life, he has worked diligently to endure the challenges to successfully achieve the goals that he has placed before him.

His education has always been a substantial element.  From Student of the Month awards and G.A.T.E. (Gifted and Talented Education) programs through Elementary and Middle School, to Honors, AP (Advanced Placement), and IB (International Baccalaureate) classes in High School.  Through his hard work and dedication, he has earned himself great recognition by his family, friends, and teachers.  To name a few, he was awarded the High Honors Award for maintaining a 4.0 for three consecutive years.  In 2009-2010, he was the proud recipient of the National Humanities Award Winner for the United States Achievement Academy.  Chris is also an active member of ASB (Academic Student Body). We are pleased to say, that he is currently maintaining a 4.8 GPA.

In addition to his studies, Chris is involved in sports as well.  This passed football season, he earned the starting positions of Running Back and Strong Safety.  With the help of his fellow teammates, coaches, and dedication, he finished the season with an outstanding personal record of 14 touchdowns.  You can view his Game Day Highlights by searching "Toribio5 #32" on YouTube.  He is currently participating in Track & Field as well.  On March 03, 2012, he and his fellow teammates won 1st place in the 4x100 relay.  After the track season, he plans to continue his training in preparation for the 2012 Antoine Cason Sports International Football Camp that he and his younger brother will be attending in June.  Chris is also involved in NCSA (National Collegiate Scouting Association), which is steadily preparing him for College Recruitment.

Aside from education and sports, Chris also volunteers in Community events whenever possible.  In June 2011, he participated in a city park clean-up, along with the city Youth Clubs and Organizations.  During the Youth Football season, he volunteers as the Equipment personnel.

Chris has always prepared to face the risks, displaying his leadership, and willingness to learn.  Above all of his talents and achievements, he remains humble, an inspiration to us all.  Being the oldest of five brothers, Chris has set a prime example for his younger brothers to follow.  With great accomplishments, opens doors to more opportunities.  Recently, Chris was just nominated and invited to take part in the NSLC (National Student Leadership Conference) program.  Another program, COSMOS (California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science), was also presented to him.  With his aspirations of becoming an Engineer, both programs provide a great opportunity for him to gain more information regarding this field.
