dear friends, family, and local community,my name is chris grant. i am a junior at pinkerton academy in derry nh. i have recently been presented with an opportunity to travel abroad to study and pursue my passion for the game of soccer.  my current financial situation is all that is hindering me from committing to this chance to not only experience international culture, but its a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to see what it is like to be a professional player.i am reaching out today for a very specific opportunity: i have been offered to attend a soccer academy in genoa italy. it is for a minimum of 2 months. this training facility is called giss. the credentials are up to date and can be viewed on their website to see the talent that has come through. they have had 90 players in the last three years scouted and brought up to play higher level soccer throughout the world. there are 15 players training there now. our schedule is: light breakfast, training, lunch, second training and school work, and finally friendly matches. these matches have scouts that attend from all different clubs including la liga and italian serie b and a teams.i come from a highly supportive family that is 100 percent behind me. i would like the ability to help my parents with the cost of my flight, housing, training and misc. my parents are struggling to obtain the funds to send me. i am looking for sponsorships local and nationwide as well as prayers for me. this is my dream to be able to have an opportunity to play internationally. i will continue to update and communicate within the page. please take the time to give this nh small town boy - a chance to live his dream!sponsorhip goals:mile points to use for my flights to italy and backmonetary funds to pay for my stay in italy and possibly other areas. $100.00 a day includes training, housing and food. i will also need incential money from transportation and if we get the time to watch a professional match. i will need traning gear, cleats and laptop to continue my studies here.
