Help for Chris O'Connor's Family

Chris O’Connor left this world on March 27th, 2018 and his family is devastated by his sudden death. An incomprehensible loss such as this leaves a family’s world upside down. Many in the community are responding with tender messages of support and kindness. This family’s need is great, as his children try to navigate the murky waters of grief and life without their dad. Chris was a Registered Massage Therapist, Provider and Instructor of Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University, an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and Public Speaker. He was well respected for his work with Bob Proctor and the Proctor Gallagher Institute. The Global Healthworks Foundation is remembering Chris’ leadership work with them as “a gentle giant with a generous spirit. His genuine advocacy reached far and wide and included people of all backgrounds, including marginalized and disadvantaged communities…an awesome humanitarian who brought such depth of kindness & compassion to our medical outreach initiatives in Guatemala.” It is in times of great tragedy that a loving community is needed most. May we come together and surround Chris’ family in both word and kind deed. Our support will help with the many expenses that come with a sudden, life shattering loss as this. My love
The spring rains fall softly upon the awakening Earth
Below the surface magic stirs
Appearing dormant from above,
the water seeps in to nourish the life expressing Colours of endless hues,
about to set the bees into hypnotic euphoria
Scents released,
unifying the wholeness of renewal
Birds lyrically lighting the air with anticipation
The clouds hold no sway this day over the cycles
revolving Life's mysterious unfolding
Forever returning
Abundance and joy
