Choose our honeymoon stay!

It's taken us this long to finally tie the knot after saying we were going to do it during all the Prop 8 malarky and NOW we're finally doing it. We're getting married on the beach at Paradise Cove just before sunset on June 1st. It will just be us, our officiant (plus husband), a witness and a photographer. We'll post pics after. 

So as most of you know, we've not registered and we've asked everyone to please not buy us any gifts since we really have everything we need except for a new sofa - whatever money you gift us will go first towards our honeymoon trip and anything left will go towards a new sofa (which we need so badly!)

Our trip is a 3-part family visit/vacation, first we'll visit our family/friends in Dallas, we'll be there for a few days and plan on visiting as many folks as possible. The second leg of our trip takes us to New Orleans to visit with AJ's brother for a day then the third part has us renting a car and driving to Destin, Fl. for a nice relaxing week on the beach and to visit with AJ's parents. We've planned our stay up to New Orleans - we don't know where we'll be staying in Destin quite yet and this is where YOU come in! If you want us to stay in a nice cabin on the beach or a resort hotel in the same area or even a tent on the water -- it's all dependent upon the amount gifted as to where we end up. 

In using this website to give everyone an easy place to gift, the site requires that we put in a money "goal" ---we don't really have a "goal" -- so pay no mind to the amount, gift whatever you like.

We plan on having a reception in Los Angeles (date/time tbd) and another in Dallas when we're there. 

Thank you to everyone for the well wishes so far - we hope one day that EVERY state will have the same equality - being a part of HRC allows us to help every day. We're working on it for the rest of the country!
