ChinoSound Recovery...

So this year end was a rough one...  Damage to my truck and an unforgiving schedule, coupled along with theft of 2 - CDJ's, mixer, and 3 - 12" monitors has left ChinoSound reelin' a bit.  The finances are manageable, but a lil daunting going into 2018, especially to continue serving the community in the manner I do with uncompromising audio.   Up to this point, ChinoSound has been a Sole Proprieter business - everything is owned and was purchased by me.  What this theft and damage has caused is an inability to pay off debts for both salaries and repairs/replacement in a timely manner.  I've been hestitant to throw myself a crowd funding campaign, but so many people have reached out and asked me how they can help, so I've created this as a manner for those who wish to help ChinoSound get into 2018 and beyond.

Funds will be used for the following:

-Repayment of a loan given for equipment purchase
-Purchase of a replacement set of CDJ's
-a new Business insurance that will cover rental gear and borrowed gear, along with standard liability I already carry.
-Investment in an anti theft lojack typoe of technology
-Incorporation of ChinoSound.

Funds are needed before festival season 2018.  That starts roughly in March.   

What this would mean to me personally...  well in one word, the world.  I do what I do because of the joy I see at every event from people that have become to mean the world to me.  Audio is all I ever have done, and what I know... and to not be able to give it everything I have is devastating me.  I love nothing more than seeing a dancefloor activate, people dancing and smiling, hugging, having the time of their lives... with no one holding their ears.  Less people with earplugs.  To create and hold safe space for people from all walks of life, all orientations, all races to become one with the dancefloor.  We truly do something magical together, and we heal together.   Help me to continue that into 2018.

To that end I've put together not just a request for financial help, but a series of intentional events that will add to your year, that you can invest in now, which helps me out big time.  One will be the Gathering 2018!  Our sixth edition of that magical event that has happened every summer, on the second weekend of June.  Get a guaranteed ticket in Jan!   Another will be a Salvage Sunday - ChinoSound edition, and also a Ranch BBQ, where none other than Yours Truly will cook for you, and then supply a tasty party :)    It'll be well worth your time.  And if you just want to donate, well you can do that as well.  Again, I can't tell you how much this means to me.
