Support Chinny's Recovery!

Hello Family and Friends,

Thank you for taking the time to pray about donating to the recovery efforts of Chinonso "Chinny" Anyanwu.

As a lot of you know, Chinny has been battling Crohn's Disease (http://www.ccfa.org/) for over 6 years and has done a great job of balancing the illness and life as a dad of 2 beautiful little girls. He is also the boyfriend to a supportive woman, an uncle to 4 nieces and a nephew, a playful brother and cousin, a caring son, and a hard worker.

This July, Chinny started to feel ill, but persevered through the pain until he knew that he had to go to the doctor. He was admitted into UCLA Medical Center (He's a Bruin for life!) on July 12th and has been there ever since. He has been in and out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the doctors have been puzzled as to the reason for the agressive nature of his sickness. 

Through the prayers and petitions of his family and friends, and through the intercession of St. Toribio Romo, Chinny was downgraded on Sunday, August 3rd to stable condition after a major scare and a week in ICU.

As you can imagine, this hospital stay is quite costly. Due to his hospital admttance, Chinny is currently not working and Ashley, his wonderful girlfriend and mother of his vibrant daughters, has taken a lot of time off from work to take care of him.

We are asking that people continue to pray for his full recovery and, please donate to his hospital bills as well as the family's living expenses (rent, childcare for the girls, etc.). Our starting goal is $10,000 but we know that his medical bills alone will be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
