Children of Palestine

Dear Friends,
By now you must have heard, seen or read some of the many atrocities committed against the Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian territories (otherwise called the West Bank), Gaza or even in Israel itself.
The crimes reached a high by burning Mohammad AbuKhdeir (17 years old) alive and followed by the brutal attack on his cousin, Tareq (15 years old). Meanwhile, bombing Gaza, the world's largest open-air prison.
All of these events have caused pain and frustration world-wide. However, pain alone can not help the Palestinian people.
We Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights and McMaster Muslims for Peace and Justice have decided to take an active role in helping the Palestinians against the oppression they are facing by starting this fundraising campaign. A campaign aimed to raise awareness regarding this issue, to show our solidarity with the children of Palestine and to offer aid to those directly impacted by political violence occurring in Gaza and the West Bank.
Money alone could only take us so far, it also should be accompanied with action. We encourage you all to join us on Friday the 11th to demonstrate in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
All funds will be donated to; United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East
"NRWA provides direct emergency relief, social, health care and educational services to Palestinian refugees in Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Today, UNRWA is the main provider of basic services to over 4.3 million registered Palestinian refugees in the Middle East."
