Statement from founder:
Child of the Nile has been one of my main goals to achieve from a very young age. I have always been inspired and motivated by my family and friends to help the vulnerable. This organisation stems from a very close place to home and sits deeply within my heart. I was never raised in Sudan rather in Australia though I do have family who have and I can only understand the hardship of having the bare minimum. I have always grown up in a loving household and a roof above my head, which I always am grateful for. CTN will be a way to allow children to experience the love they lost from a very young age. In addition education has always been engraved in my childhood and household, so when I take a step back and see that most children have never stepped into a school it makes me feel so privileged to have had those opportunities. I really hope this organization can impact a child's life and make a difference within our community as ‘strong communities raise strong kids’

Child of the Nile (CTN) is a non-profit organization for various children in Sudan that are disadvantaged with homes, families and educational systems.
CTNs mission is to develop academic skills, provide homes and a loving environment to improve the living standards of vulnerable children.
CTN for the first few years will be offering programs similar to a scholarship program where the child will be funded money to attend school. CTN will also provide: medication, books and clothing as children are the individuals that will lead our future.
As an organisation we are aiming to tackle the high numbers of orphans and uneducated children. It has been stated that “ 10% of Sudan’s children are orphans and many children live on the streets” (Kidsalive international, 2020). That is almost 405,000 vulnerable children on the streets with no food, clothing or a place to call home! These figures do not take into consideration the 40% of children that are not educated or have never been placed in the education system.
As an organisation we have successfully collected funds that are going to make a tremendous difference through various social platforms (all listed below). However as we are a non-profit organisation we can only successfully operate and grow if we have the help of the community.
