My wonderful fur baby Chester has been my buddy for 15 years, since I was 13 years old.
Two years ago he was diagnosed with Ringbone in his left front leg, which is bony arthritis in the pastern joint. The ringbone progressed despite every attempt to manage it with Western and alternative medicines.
This summer, it became too difficult to watch him constantly in pain, and I decided to have his offending joint fused, a common treatment for this injury.
The recovery prognosses for this surgery is very good and he is already looking better after having the surgery on September 5th.
I am asking for help from my friends and fellow animal lovers to help offset the significant costs of surgery.
Chester is a wonderful horse who has brought joy and happiness to many people.
