Chester the Wonderdog Wants to See Again

  Chester is the sweetest, most loving and affectionate dog you'll ever meet.  People can't help but smile when they walk by him and he'll melt anyone's heart with his little way of talking. He was raised by cats and thinks he's human.
 
  A few months ago he was diagnosed with diabetes and has now gone completely blind from the cataracts brought on by his diabetes. He's my best friend and it breaks my heart to see my boy this way. His little doggy lips are bruised and scraped from walking into things. I'd love to have his blindness reversed, but the surgery is too expensive for me, and his diabetes already has me in debt.  I have an appointment next week with the animal eye doctor to get the ball rolling, but I can barely afford the preliminary exam.  Then, his next procedure will cost between $1000-$1300, followed by the final procedure which can cost between $3000-$4000, barring complications and/or a longer stay at the hospital. Then there will be months of follow up visits and medicine, in addition to the all the diabetes related doctor visists and medicine he's had and will have.

  I'm hoping that Chester's surgury funds can be raised quickly. He's doing amazingly well after a week of being blind, but it's difficult for him to navigate his way around the world. Please help if you can, or pass this story along to someone that may be able to. Chester will love you either way, because that's the kind of dog he is!!!
