Cheryl LeBoeuf- Faith, Love, Hope

Cheryl is a 36 year old speech pathologist who works for the Terrebonne Parish School system.  She also does private speech therapy, as well working as a Power CrossFit instructor.

In November of 1999, Cheryl was diagnosed with stage 1 brain cancer on her brain stem.  After receiving a diagnosis from MD Anderson, Cheryl began months of radiation treatment.  As the years went by, Cheryl's tumor was considered to be in remission and further treatment was no longer needed.  In June of 2014, Cheryl began experiencing symptoms similar to those in 1999.  MD Anderson confirmed that Cheryl's tumor was now active.  After a brain biopsy was performed, Cheryl received the news that she had stage 4 brain cancer.  Immediately following her diagnosis, radiation and chemotherapy treatments were started.  Due to the location and type of tumor, MD Anderson felt that her treatment plan would best be handled in Houston.  Complications during treatment caused a delay during radiation and chemotherapy, but  was completed once her doctors were able to get her symptoms under control.  After 8 continuous weeks in Houston, Cheryl is now at home receiving treatment every other week.

Cheryl is unable to work at this time.  Friends of Cheryl are asking that you please consider making a donation to help cover the mounting expenses associated with medical treatment, as well as lodging in Houston.  Any amount will be greatly appreciated by her entire family.  Please continue to keep Cheryl in your prayers.

Cheryl's strength, determination and courage is an inspiration to all!
