Charles T. Shepard Family Fund

These are my brother's children, Laura, Arlen, Stewart, Livia, Maddie, Carmen and Nathan. They live in Crane, Texas and their house was recently destroyed by fire. They are currently living in a hotel and the homeowners insurance is paying the bill. Charles has been a school teacher for many years and was recently forced to take administrative leave because of his cerebral palsy. The income from the school district will end in August of this year. Charles applied for Social Security Disability and was approved; however, he does not have enough work credits and will not be receiving any benefits. He does have a teachers retirement, but is short 4 years to be fully vested. The school has told him that it would cost $23,000.00 to buy the 4 years and be fully vested and then he could start collecting a pension from the school district.
It would be so wonderful if this money could be raised for my brother.  He is so deserving of this and has worked very hard to get where he is in life. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
