<div>Hello, everybody. My name is Jared Rigney. I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work in Bogota, Colombia for the past six months. Though I was captivated by the stunning landscapes and rich culture there, I also witnessed harsh disparities. Despite Bogota being home to 2 million children, not all of them have access to the essential resources and educational opportunities they deserve for a brighter future.

<div>Together with Armando Rodríguez from the Active Mobility Foundation, we are embarking on an exceptional mission in Bogota, Colombia. Our shared vision? To harness the transformative power of bicycles for the city's youth, particularly those who come from challenging circumstances.

<div>For over a decade and a half, the Active Mobility Foundation has nurtured an ecosystem around cycling, encompassing industry, community, social projects and education. We've seen firsthand how shared knowledge can be a potent force for change, a belief that sparked our collaboration with the administrators of the Community Center of Bosconia and the children whom reside here in Bogota, led by the compassionate Activity Director, Pedro Sandoval.

<div>The Community Center of Bosconia does an incredible job in providing a safe environment for children to engage in sports, arts, and music every day. Yet, we're striving for more - an initiative to introduce over 120 young minds to the joys and skills of cycling. From designing to assembling bicycles, this program aims to instill valuable technical skills, teamwork, and a sense of achievement.

<div>Este ecosistema no ha permitido transformar nuestras vidas y llenarlas de oportunidades. Creemos en el poder del conocimiento cuando es compartido para transformar vidas.
