Let’s CHANGE the Campfield’s lives!

A GLIMPSE OF THE JOURNEY: After being diagnosed with bone cancer in 2013, Cathi battled like a PRO with her husband, Dale, by her side every step of the way. Though only for a short while, she will be deeply missed by her three children, son and daughter in law, grand-baby, extended family, and friends all over the world. It’s obvious to everyone this was a battle faced with courage, faith, and unshakable hope in God. Cathi underwent a double mastectomy, before the cancer spread to her lymph nodes. She then had those removed. But from there it had already spread to the spine, leading to tumors showing up in the jaw and painful jaw replacement surgery due to the chemo's effect. Finally, it was decided best to start ongoing palliative care to manage the pain, and keep her as comfortable as possible as she continued her treatment. On January 9, 2020, Cathi Campfield transitioned from this earth into the presence of Jesus. WHY I STARTED THIS CAMPAIGN: Cathi did marriage counseling for Tess and I, and Dale officiated our wedding. They have been dear friends throughout the years. We’ve all partnered in weekly ministry, been on mission-trips together, and shared a lot of life. I started this Campaign because I knew Dale and Cathi would NEVER ask for a dime, let alone start a GoFundMe Campaign. I wanted to give others an opportunity to change their lives, and give back to a family that has given so much to others. At the start of this campaign, many were praying that Cathi would win her battle with cancer on this earth, but God chose to win the battle another way. Though we rejoice, it is also painful, especially for her immediate family missing her so much. As they start this new and challenging journey trying to find a new normal, it would be amazing to see their financial burden eliminated. It won’t fill the void, but it certainly lifts a heavy burden. So, thank you. For praying, sharing their story on social media, and for giving to lift their financial burden. FINANCIAL BURDEN: At the beginning of the year 2020, The Campfield’s medical bills totaled $50,283.54. Since then, as of January 21st, they have received an extra $1,340.00 from the Go Fund me account, and an additional received $5,915.00 from people who have blessed us individually. Currently, their total medical debt amounts to $43,028.54. This includes all medical expenses for Cathi’s treatments, etc. prior to her transitioning into heaven.
