Ride Cambodia 2014

Every once in a while you get an opportunity to really change someone's life and that time has come for me. I'm excited to be supporting The Sunrise Children's Villages and their mission in Cambodia! I hope you will too once you know a little more about this campaign.

This organization has done some excellent work for the children of Cambodia. As of 2012: Sunrise Children's Villages and Programs have aided 400 Cambodian children and employed over 100 full and part time Cambodians. Programs focuson Center-based Child Care & Protection, Education & Vocational Training, Case Management & Counseling, Community-Based Child Care & Reintegration.

So now you're wondering what I'll be doing, right? I, along with 33 colleagues, will represent Computershare's Change a Life Foundation for a 280 mile (450km) bike ride across the country. All in all, the 2014 Ride Cambodia team will raise $175,000, but we need your HELP!

Itinerary

June 25 Depart from New York

Day 1: June 27 Siem Reap (Spend day at Sunrise Orphanage)

Day 2: June 28 Cycle around temples of Angkor (35 km)

Day 3: June 29 Cycle to Beng Melea - Kampong Thom (75km)

Day 4: June 30 Cycle Kampong Thom to Kampong Cham (80km)

Day 5: July 1 Cycle to outskirts of Phnom Penh (65km)

Day 6: July 2 Rest day in Phnom Penh (Visit Orphanage)

Day 7: July 3 Cycle to Kampot (85km)

Day 8: July 4 Cycle to Sihanoukville (104km)

Day 9: July 5 Transfer back to Phnom Penh, evening flight

July 6 Arrive home (depending on flights)
