Lakisha Johnson Burial Fund

Marissa & Franisha are raising money to bury our sister Lekisha Johnson and mother of our two nieces (see pic).

Please help these two girls not have to carry the financial burden on their shoulders alone. Burial costs look as though they will exceede $5,000. The arrangements are set for next Thursday, February 27th and them money is needed as soon as possible in order to give this beautiful daughter/sister/mother the send off she deserves. Anything helps, $10, $25, $50, $100... It all adds up to help the family not suffer from a financial burden while they are dealing with an emotional one. 

Here is the tragic story:

The Duncan/Johnson family has recently been rocked by tragedy. One of their siblings, Lakisha Johnson, recently went missing and was later found dead, murdered by the father of one of her children. This is a shocking and tragic story that is all to familiar to families in New Orleans and other forgotten neighborhoods around the country. The family is making funeral arrangements ($6,000+) and will be taking in Lakisha's two young daughters, 3 and 6. They could greatly use our financial support at this time, to cover these unforeseen expenses, as well as your prayers and well wishes.
