Catmandu's Kitties Need Your Help!

Can you give to the cats and kitties of Catmandu so we can continue our life-saving work? Catmandu is facing a crisis at the present time with the installation of the Nevada Humane Society facility (scheduled to open in September, 2016). Because Catmandu's funding comes only from donations and adoptions, finances are at a critical low. Catmandu rescues kitties that other shelters/rescues deem unfit for their facilities (kitties with special needs, trust issues, strays, feral kittens, etc.). Catmandu is a cage-free adoption center and home for cats in Carson City, Nevada. At any given time, we are usually caring for and housing around 60 cats and kittens. Our residents are primarily stray and homeless cats, as well as feral-born kittens. We teach them to trust people, get them healthy, vaccinate, spay/neuter, and then find them loving forever homes.
Every cat has a story. Becker's owner died, leaving him grieving and homeless. Syd's family moved and left him sitting in the driveway watching the U-Haul pull away. Jewel and River were young mothers, dumped with their kittens to fend for themselves. Maxine took shelter under the hood of a vehicle and ended up loosing a leg.
At Catmandu these cats find human love and kindness, sometimes for the first time in their lives. Since March, 2014, more than 550 cats and kittens have been helped at our facility. Countless others have been helped through our Trap, Neuter and Return , education, and community assistance programs.
