Help Cathy baranski Thompson who lost everything

Cathy (cat) Thompson was living the American dream,a house in the suburbs,a loving husband and guardian of her young granddaughter. There were some hic ups, medical problems forced her to go on SSD. But life came to screeching halt. A short time after a lung cancer diagnoses her husband died. Then shortly after the funeral. While sleeping she and Jennifer were awaken to sounds of crashing ceilings and collapsing floors, escaping through the rubble. A huge tree lay few feet from where they were sleeping. Daylight revealed there was little chance the house would survive. She also learned her husband cancelled the homeowners insurance after his first wife's death. Cathy was left with little money and no home but huge expenses.
For the first time Cathy who was a very successful volunteer for several charities found herself needing help.
