CatherineAnn White Medical Fund

As you may already know Catherine-Ann was in a horrible accident Friday.  What you may not know is that last year her dad died very suddenly resulting in the loss of her health insurance. She is also the primary breadwinner of the family as her mom has cancer and is unable to work.  Catherine-Ann is such a loving and caring person.  Everybody that meets her cannot help but be impressed with what a wonderful young woman she is. If you have ever met even for a few minutes I am sure you are already nodding and smiling.   I know that many many who know the family are wanting to do something meaningful, useful, helpful for Catherine-Ann and the family. I started this fund as a way to allow those of us who are feeling this way to be able to do just that. If you know Catherine-Ann or her mom, Diane you already know they would not think of asking for money but the truth is that is what is needed at this point.    Any donation regardless of size is appreciated very much.  It all adds up and it all helps. 

Her injuries are very serious. She spent 3 days in ICU, is in a regular room now and is hoping to be transferred to Dallas soon.  She is in a body brace for 8 weeks then will need rehabilitation.  She was on her way home from New Orleans and was not quite back into Texas so there is not a real option to get Medicaid in Louisiana because she isn't a resident and even if she qualifies for Texas Medicaid it won't cover the out of state hospital bills.  I started the goal out at $100,000 but my guess is that is a low estimate of what will be needed.  Together we can help this family.
