Castleisland Day Care Centre provide Day Care services for the elderly of the area, day respite for families and carers with services such as nursing, chiropody, midday meals, laundry, hairdressing and educational sessions
On a normal year Castleisland Day Care would at this time of the year be busy dusting down our signs and preparing cyclists and stewards for our annual cycle which usually take place on the first Sunday of September. Similar to many other events this year our annual cycle has fallen to COVID 19.
In line with a lot of other sporting events a decision has been made to cancel the event this year. This is in the interest of Public Health and Safety and has been done in good faith and with the right spirit.
In its place we are inviting participants who would normally cycle the event to do so anyway in their own time and at their own pace.
We are also offering participants or anyone who wishes to support Castleisland Day Care the option of donating the registration fee to our GO FUND ME PAGE.
Funds raised will as always stay in the community and be used by Castleisland Day Care Centre to support our elderly in their community.
