As you know our dear friend and colleague Carolyn Price is facing one of the biggest battles of her life, uterus cancer. Carolyn is an amazing woman, generous, caring, strong and independent, if anyone can conquer this insidious disease she can.
Carolyn is about to undergo close to 9 months of intensive treatment, Chemo, radiation and a major operation, whilst caring for her beautiful son Luka.
In beating cancer it is imperative that all of Carolyn’s energies are focussed towards getting through each treatment without stress and added pressure that life can throw at us.
Having recently overcome a similar challenge to Carolyn, I truly understand the importance of family and friends and the invaluable love and support they selflessly offer without agenda.
One of the greatest gifts to me was the financial support my closest friend offered through fundraising. The financial pressure of medical expenses coupled with living expenses is such a huge stress.
I know Carolyn is loved and admired by so many people and I know in these situations everyone wants to offer support but are at a loss as to what to do. instead of sending flowers, may I suggest that you could donate that money to help with Carolyn’s expenses.
With your help it would be sensational to be able to raise enough funds to pay her mortgage during her treatment phase so that she doesn’t need to worry at all about that burden.
