Medical Support for Carolyn

On a very well deserved vacation in Mexico in February, Carolyn contracted a debilitating disease that remains undiagonosed. Carolyn suffers from severe headaches, gastro-intestinal issues, has difficulty focusing, and has difficulty remembering what happened 10 minutes ago unless she writes it down. Simple daily tasks are incredibly challenging and she has almost accidentally started several fires while cooking.

Carolyn is unable to work and has exhausted all of her sick and vacation time. Always a frugal person, she manages her budget well but was not prepared for something like this coming on the tail end of a vacation, which she rarely takes. Her employer is working to find the best financial support that they can provide but as a small nonprofit there are limits to what they can do.
