On Tuesday, February 3, 2015 Carol Hoffman was involved in an accident on Route 17 in Middletown.

She was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with multiple fractures on her left side, a broken neck, broken ribs, broken sternum and an aneurysm in her chest. She suffered two strokes upon arrival.
She continues to be in sedation at Shock Trauma and has undergone multiple surgeries to fuse her neck, repair arteries in her chest and repair her spine. The full extent of her injuries will not be known until she is stable enough for a full evaluation which requires her to be out of sedation and breathing on her own.
Carol's three children, Jenn, Lindsay (my sister-in-law) and Andy, have been by her side since the accident. They are overwhelmed and devastated. My hope is to relieve some of the financial stress that comes with such tragedy.
Once Carol is able to understand what has occurred and what lies ahead, I do not want her or her children to worry about the mounting medical bills. Please keep Carol in your prayers!
