For Our Father Well Deserved Funeral

Our father, Carlos Clemente, has passed away recently. (August 21st, 1977 - September 1st, 2017) He was a great father to us. He has given us everything that we have wanted and needed. Taught us to have hope and never give up in our darkest times. He was our friend, our mentor, our ray of light. He wanted us to go and finish college and be the kids we knew that we could be. Right now, we are in a bit of a struggle and finding way to pay for his funeral that he truly does deserve. He was there for me and tried his best to lead me to the right direction that I needed to take. Sadly, I just learned what I needed to do to make a better version of myself, but he had left us before I can show him up front. Now he has to watch me up in Heaven, to see what the man I will become. -Erik Clemente My father Carlos Clemente, was more than just my dad. He was my best friend, my hero, and my goal as someone in life. My dad did everything in life for his family. Growing up he followed his ambitions and goals. When he had his family we were his goal. He did everything he could to keep us all happy and give us the best life he could. He worked hard. Despite the health conditions he had he fought on. Doctors said he was supposed to pass years ago. But he felt his job here wasn’t done he said he would leave until we were all prepared for life. He said he’s not going to leave until I’m an adult. I’m now 18 years old and he accomplished what he wanted. He showed me and the world that you can be strong, wise, and kind all at the same time. He taught me that if you want something in life you reach for it and keep striving for it. He was always there for us, his family. With all the actions he took I know he had us at heart and never made a selfish desire without everyone benefiting from it. He didn’t only care for us but for his brothers and cousins as well. He was an angel sent from heaven and god simply took him back And now he’s gone in a better place. So with all the sacrifices he took and all the things he did for us, the least I could do is give him the funeral he deserves.-Michael Clemente
