Lung Cancer Battle w/ LOVE & Care

Donation protected
My father is beginning the battle of his life with Lung Cancer (pancoast tumor left lung Stage II/III).  His family doctor, Dr. Rick Mauriello, had ordered an x-ray due to severe back pain that did not get better with physical therapy, which is where the cancer was first seen.  He was diagnosed October 9th by Dr. Frank Bowen Of Cooper MD Anderson in Voorhees and started chemotherapy and radiation November 6th.  He was admitted to the hospital after 4 days of treatment and is getting a barage of testing to find out why he has gained 15 pounds in just 3 days and is retaining a lot of fluid.   His insurance will only cover so much and with a 21 year old vehicle on the fritz, there is no way he can handle all these financial burdens.

As a child, he was an alter boy for 4 years and attended church regularly with his mother(Rosella), father, sister, and brothers.  His father was an usher for the church, as well.  His father (Robert Linden) died of Lung Cancer in 1980, just months after his youngest son Mark was born, and fortunately there is a photograph of my grandfather holding Mark before he died.  His death devastated my father and I thank God that this cancer is possibly curable, and just want to help give my father as much help as possible with whatever time he may have left and possibly make a small bucket list to do things he would love and cherish.  Right now he is really enjoying the Eagles win (haha), especially with Carson Wentz as the quarterback and how he granted the wish of a sweet boy named Lucas "The Dutch Destroyer", who loved the game of football.  Carson wears the bracelet that Lucas gave him all the time and Lucas went to heaven just 13 days after meeting Carson, his favorite player. <3

My father was an amazing craftsmen, and built every house with love, conscious, and care.  When he built a deck on someone's house, they could be sure that it would never falter!  He taught me about the importance of lag bolts and beams, which I never forgot.  My dad has core values that you don't see in people these days, and he has been a wonderful father and a terrific grandfather.  Few people would drive in severe radial nerve pain (from the tumor) so not to harm anyone on the road, instead of taking strong pain medication that may inhibit his driving ability.  My dad has a strong faith in God and prays daily for numerous people.  He was the type of employer who helped guys who were down on their luck.

The funds would be needed as soon as possible, since he already has hundreds of dollars in copays before he even started treatment.  It  will be used for a number of things he needs, especially the medical costs.  If you can't donate, it is sweetly appreciated to share his campaign on any social media you choose.

Please share this campaign to help my dad feel the love, the miraculous strength of social media sharing, and the support from people all over the world who care about joining the fight of cancer for a kind man who always gave from his heart and led by his conscious.  He is totally open to helping others with suggesting early detection screening and letting them know his story, even just to help save one life!  Start with an x-ray!

With gratitude and love,

Janelle <3

P.S.  If you are unable to contribute in any way, prayers are free, and so are hugs, and know that you are loved. xo

Luke 6:38
"Give, and it will be given to you.  A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.  For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." <3
