Thank you all for donating to SassEsnacks cancer treatment. Your kindness gave SassE the ability to pay for her home and medical bills while she was out of work due to illness. The donations have also helped me pay off her medical bills after she died.
Lizzy, aka SassEsnacks was sick for several years and doctors diagnosed her with IBS, stress, anxiety and acid reflux. Lizzy changed her diet multiple times in order to deal with her stomach pain. Out of desperation, she tried alternative healing. Lizzy searched the World Wide Web with her pains and symptoms numerous times, and pancreatic cancer never came up as a possibility. It wasn't until she was in so much pain that she wanted to die, that a doctor finally ordered a CT Scan with Oral/IV contrast. On November 20, 2018, Lizzy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, metastatic to her liver.
Lizzy, died of pancreatic cancer on April 10, 2019. This was in part, due to a late diagnosis. I couldn't help but wonder how long she would have lived had she been diagnosed sooner.
