Rare Cancer - Trtmt for Mamoon

Donation protected
09/19/18 - Thank you to all of you that continue to help us in this time of need. We have made progress in securing treatment for Mamoon at MUSC Hospital. We still need help to get him here as we have exhausted our funds in handling his appointments, scans and tests in Pakistan. Once he begins treatment here, we will set up an account to pay the hospital directly if anyone is able to help. We will be working off my income alone and will have out of pocket expenses. Anything that you can do to help us get things started would be appreciated. Even if it's just sharing this gofundme, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I can't think of a more deserving man than Mamoon. Please pray doctors are able to help us with longevity and quality of life. Love you all. <3

8/28/18 - So it looks like we may be moving forward with MUSC for treatment. I've lowered the amount needed and will probably lower it again once we know more. We still need help with initial payments and medicines because this won't be the same as MD Anderson with the clinical trials where certain medicines are provided. Please keep sharing and sending positive vibes. Once we have a good account set up, we'll move this to being able to pay the hospital directly. That's the goal, anyway. Love you all!!

Update: 08/27/18

We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for sharing and prayers and kindness and donations.  We have found yet another hospital that might be able to help us.   We are working on establishing an account to pay the hospital directly to help us with treatment.  Please, please keep sharing and remembering us.   We have a longer road ahead, but we can try to fight this as much as possible.  Love to you all.  <3

Earlier this month my husband was diagnosed with a very rare case of mestastic malignant paraganglioma in his neck.  The first mass was removed from his lymphnode which then exposed what seems to be the original tumor...a cartoid tumor.  He has other lymphnodes infected as well.  It has encased two vascular veins.  Surgery is very risky as there is a possibility it can paralyze him or leave him with brain damage.

The cover photo I chose is a screen shot of MD Anderson Hospital's website showing how rare this is and that they are doing clinical trials.  The hospital will pay for travel there and we already have an assigned patient assistant walking us through this process.

The hospital is asking for $15,100 to begin their work.  I also have screenshots of that email and am willing to forward any information I can to show this is legitimate, to include our patient representative at the hospital.

Mamoon is a kind man.  He is a phenomenal father and husband.  He's a hard worker and has helped so many in his lifetime.  This type of mestastic cancer is extremely rare.  I just want to try and help him get care from people that have seen it, albeit only a few times.  He of all people, that has always helped others, now needs out help.

Please, please consider helping.  Even $5 would help.  My heart is aching by this diagnosis.  Our children are hurting and scared.  We just need to get the ball rolling.  Please, if you need any proof, leave a message and I will get it to you.

Also, you can use [email redacted] for PayPal.

Thank you and God bless.

JazakAllah kharain.
Alhamdulillah.
For everything.
