New Handicap Accessible Bus

Camp Sunrise at Camp Warwick (Warwick, NY) is a Christian overnight camp for special needs teenagers and adults with disabilities.  Camp Warwick gives special needs campers an opportunity to participate in various on and off campus activites such as swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, bowling, lawn games, arts and crafts, wilderness camping, and Christian education.  In order to transport our campers to on and off-site locations, we use a handicap accessible, 12 passenger bus with an electric wheelchair lift.  Our current bus is over 20 years old and the lift doesn't function anymore making it impossible to transport all of our campers.  In fact, one camper who uses a wheelchair got stuck in the bus because the lift wouldn't operate.  We are trying to raise money for a new bus so we can continue to offer our campers life-changing camp experiences safely.
