Scout Park Eagle Scout Project

Hello,

My name is Cameron Kimner, I am currently a member of the Boy Scout Troop 519 located on Daniel Island and I am currently working on my Eagle Scout Project.  For my project I am working with both the Daniel Island Property Owner's Association and The Greenery to build what will eventially be Scout Park to commemorate my local Boy Scout troop. The park will serve as a public green area on Daniel Island that could be used for just realaxing or spending time there with family or friends for the residents of Daniel Island. The park will be located on the corner of Scott St. and Corn Planters St, near Scott Park Pool.

The funds for the project will need to be raised within the next few weeks in order to complete the project by my deadline, the current date set for the project will be Satuday,  October 28th. The funds will help to contribute to the current plan for the project which includes: installing benches, plants, a palmetto mix pathway, soil additives, new turf on the surrounding of the park, as well as put down new pinestraw in the area. Also, if there is any way you could donate any physical materials for project please contact me as it would help out a great extent.
