Cameroon Youths Jesus, 25years

This post has been created on behalf of a large body of people in Cameroon, (W. Africa) and in the diaspora, whose lives have been touched, transformed and positively influenced over the years by a Christian youth ministry largely known as the Cameroon Youths for Jesus (CYJ). What started 25yrs as a revival in College campuses in the Capital city of Yaoundé and led by Prof. Victor Mbarika and other teenagers including Prof. Julius Esunge, did spread across the nation like a refining fire, and emerged into a youth evangelistic movement, the CYJ. Several years later, the result has been a significant contribution to national transformation through the gospel of Christ Jesus that has impacted thousands of young people who now serve in diverse capacities in our nation and around the world, both in Christian ministry and honorable service in government and at the market place.
This GoFundMe campaign is aimed at supporting as well as expanding the ongoing evangelistic efforts of the new generation of the CYJ. We also want to host a 25th Anniversary Youth Conference in Yaoundé, from December 26th to 30th that will bring together Churches and Youth ministries in Cameroon. This event will also be a home coming for the CYJ family from the diaspora. We want to celebrate 25yrs of fruitful and impactful service as well as bring together the body of Christ to encourage their efforts.
Funds that are received will be used immediately for conference preparations and we are optimistic that we can come together to financially support the numerous outreach efforts and to reach the unreached with the love and life transforming good news of Christ. Indeed the harvest if plentiful. The laborers are few. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
This means so much to us because it takes one generation to declare God's goodness and the light of Christ to another generation, lest they be lost in the darkness. We will do our best to faithfully forward the support that comes in to fulfill this God ordained vision.
