CURIOSITIES NYC

CURIOSITIES is an immersive theatrical experience set in an illegal 1930's sideshow world full of bootleggers, deviants, performers and misfits who have banded together under the wing of their keeper, The Professor, for better or for worse. Audiences have the opportunity to curate their own experiences as they traverse this subterranean jazz club and the denizens therein, uncovering the secrets and stories of their lives, getting lost in their world, and hopefully finding their way out. The beauty of a show like this one is that audiences will get out of it what they put in, and the format allows for the same person to return to the world of the show multiple times, coming away each time with a completely new experience of the show depending on who they interact with, which routes they choose to explore, and how they decide to spend their time within the space.

The immersive theatre market exploded in London in the late 2000's with companies like Punchdrunk, and has exploded in recent years in the United States. The New York market for immersive is growing consistently, with shows like Sleep No More, Then She Fell, and Grand Paradise having long and successful runs, and we believe that CURIOSITIES appropriately matches their potential and is ready to join that list. After having produced two very successful workshop productions of the show in the last two years, one being an Off-Broadway run which received excellent press, we believe the production is ready for a full-scale run, and we need your help to make that possible!
