Francesco 32 bday in support of Alice for Children

A Chinese proverb says "give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime".
Standing with the principle that to eliminate poverty we need to facilitate self-sufficiency, I've decided to raise funds to help Alice for Children, a charitable organization which is providing primary school education to thousands of unprivileged kids living in the slums of Nairobi.
Last year I had the pleasure to witness their amazing work and I attended the opening of the new Italian Food Academy, a school launched with the aim to educate young orphans students and give them a chance to find a job in the tourism industry.
The kitchen is also used every day to feed more than 100 orphans kids that live in the Alice's campus.
I've personally tried the pasta and I have to say that was very good! :)
The funds raised through my birthday campaign will be entirely donated to support student scholarships. We will document how the funds will be used to keep everyone updated.
Reinventing the Chinese proverb, I would say "give a guy a pizza, and you will make him full for a day. Teach him how to make the best Italian pizza, and he will get a job for a lifetime"
