Only the Best for the Gates of HeavenWhen we lose a loved one, we are often left with the why questions. As well as the woulda, coulda, shoulda's. One might take solace in knowing that our dearly departed is with the lord and that others, who have preceded them in death, will be there to greet them. However, there is a special peace that comes with the notion that the Lord takes only the best first. Sometimes it might be true and others we simply only see the best. For those good memories, are what keeps the departed alive in our hearts. For, Maria Conception Corona, that notion is the absolute truth.
On Saturday morning, January 12, 2019, Concha, as family and friends called her, lost her life and everything that represented her and her memory to a tragic house fire. As the matriarch in her family, she leaves behind 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
We are reaching out to anyone who can help the family with funeral expenses. In addition, her husband and youngest son, Michael, who made it out of the fire are in need of basic items. The fire was so overwhelming, it consumed all they owned.
Mario and Michael Corona, wish only to have Concha back. On their behalf, we humbly ask that anyone who has any clothing, underwear, shoes, socks, jackets, new or used , would please donate, them. The irony? While the family only wants her back, without thought of material items, Concha, the nurturer that she was, would be asking for help to take care of her family if she could.

Solo lo mejor para las puertas del cielo
Cuando perdemos a un ser querido, nos queramos con el ¿por qué? Así como lo habría, podría o debería haber echo. Uno puede sentirse aliviado al saber que nuestros queridos difuntos están con el señor y otros que han fallecido y que quizás estén allí para saludarlos. Sin embargo, hay una paz especial que viene con la noción de que el Señor solo toma lo mejor primero. A veces puede ser verdad y otras solo vemos lo mejor, porque esos buenos recuerdos son lo que mantiene a alguien vivo en nuestros corazones. Para Maria Concepción Corona, es la verdad absoluta. Una matriarca en su familia, tiene 4 hijos, 12 nietos y 3 bisnietos.
El sábado por la mañana, 12 de enero de 2019, Concha, como la llamaban sus familiares y amigos, perdió la vida y todo lo que la representaba a ella y su memoria en un trágico incendio en su casa.
Nos estamos acercando a cualquier persona que pueda ayudar a la familia no solo con los gastos del funeral, sino a su esposo y su hijo menor, quienes lograron salir del fuego, solo para encontrarse ansiosamente haciendo intentos peligrosos, para volver a entrar a la casa para salvar querida he’s posa y mama. El fuego era tan abrumados por fuera como por dentro. No lo pudieron a lograr.
Mario y Michael Corona solo desean recuperar a Concha, pero humildemente preguntamos si alguien tiene ropa, ropa interior, zapatos, calcetines, chaquetas usadas o nuevas para donar, que se comunique con la persona responsable de su conocimiento de la situación o la familia directamente. ¿La ironía? Si bien la familia solo la quiere de vuelta, no importa el material, Concha solo pediría ayuda para cuidar a su familia.
