El Colegio Adventista Bethel del pueblo de Villa Vasquez, Monte Cristi en la República Dominicana ha brindado sus servicios a sus habitantes y pueblos cercanos por más de 50 años. Siempre trabajando a favor de conservar los valores cristianos. Ese amor y calidad de vida que se han ido perdiendo en la sociedad al transcurso de los años.  Como toda organización educativa de la edad primaria también ha sido, y continuara siendo, el comienzo educativo para muchos que hoy día son ingenieros, licenciados, médicos, y pastores. Por mencionar algunos de los tantos profesionales que hoy día ejercen en casa y en el exterior.

Yo soy ejemplo de la bendición de estudiar en tan especial lugar cuando niño. Estudie aquí por 4 años hasta el séptimo grado y luego me mude para NY. Mis padres no eran cristianos pero si me dieron la oportunidad de a temprana edad conocer a Dios en esta escuela. Me aparte cuando joven pero si volví cuando hombre sabiendo donde volver. Hoy día Dios me ha dado la oportunidad de compartir el evangelio en varios estados de Los Estados Unidos. Igualmente, en otros países como Mexico, Honduras y República Dominica. 

De acuerdo con sus capacidades estructurales, el colegio no le puede brindar sus servicios a sus niños después de cierta edad y sus padres les piden más. Después de tantos años al servicio, la estructura se ve en necesidad de modificaciones y arreglos para así poder brindarle los mejores servicios a sus niños. Hoy día el colegio se ve en la necesidad de techar el patio para proteger los niños del medio ambiente, y también crearle un área de recreo y actividades. Igual se necesita las modificaciones de 3 aulas y reparar un área que será usada como una aula extra y comedor. Por igual, la remodelación de los baños de acuerdo con el Ministerio de Educación. Y otras cosas más que si la misericordia de Dios nos permite serán hechas para el bienestar de los niños. La asistencia presente del colegio es de unos 70 alumnos. Ya con estas remodelaciones el colegio estaría capacitado para poder brindarles servicios a mas de 150 niños.  

Dios le aporta sus valores y enseñanzas para así poder compartirlas con los niños, sus estudiantes. Debido a que el colegio no es parte del sistema educativo del gobierno nacional, no recibe ningún apoyo económico del gobierno. Por falta de ese apoyo económico, me veo en necesidad de acercarme a aquellos que por este medio nos puedan ayudar para así poder hacer realidad lo que previamente estas líneas presentan. Tenemos por estimado en lo que es material y mano de obra unos $14,000.00 USD. Sera de mucho valor cualquier apoyo que puedan aportar. Que Dios ponga en el corazón de cada una de las personas que nos han de apoyar la cantidad que le sea de mas bendición.

El Colegio Adventista Bethel in the town of Villa Vasquez, Monte Cristi located in the Dominican Republic has served its inhabitants and nearby towns for over 50 years. Always working in favor of preserving Christian values with the love and quality of life that has been lost in society over the years.  As every educational organization of primary age, it has been, and will continue to be, the educational beginning for many who today are engineers, doctors, and pastors. To mention some of the many professionals who practice today at home and abroad.

I am an example of the blessing that is to study in such a special place. I studied there for 4 years up to the seventh grade then I moved to NY.  My parents were not Christians but gave me the opportunity at an early age to know the Lord in this school.  I walked away in my youth yet I came back as adult knowing where to comeback to. Today God has blessed me with the opportunity to share the gospel in several states of the US. Plus, in other countries like Mexico, Honduras and Dominican Republic. 

According to its structural capacity, the school cannot provide services to its children after a certain age and the parents are asking more from it. After so many years of service, the structure needs modifications, upgrades, and repairs to provide the best services to its children. Today, the school not only needs a playground and activity area, but also a roof to provide protection from the sun and the elements. There are three classrooms in need of renovations and another area will need to be modified so it can be converted into an additional classrooms and kitchen and dining area. There is also a need to bring the bathrooms to the Ministry of Education standard. We hope that  by the mercy of God also we can make other changes as needed for the welfare of children in due time. Today the school has an enrollment of about 70 students.  With these modifications, upgrades and repairs the school will able to provide services for about 150 kids. 

God provides us with His values and teachings so that we can share them with the children, our students. Since the school is not a part of the national government's education system, it does not receive any financial support from the government. In the absence of the government’s financial support, I see a need thru this mean to approach those who can help the school so it can make a reality the necessary improvements for the school and welfare of the students.  The  estimate for the material and labor is about  $14,000.00 USD. It will be greatly appreciate any level of support you can provide.  May the Lord bless the heart of the person with the amount that is going to be a greater blessing to them.
