Women's Rights Pro Bono Project
Donation protected
The Columbia Law Women's Association is very excited to have planned its first-ever pro bono caravan for five students this year. The five of us will be partnering with the California Women's Law Center, and working on a wide-range of projects related to women's rights. Our work will be dependent on what is active in March, but likely will be similar to CWLC's current major projects, which mainly focus on campus sexual assault, gender discrimination, and violence against women.
The work that we complete on our trip will allow the CWLC to take on, or complete, projects that would otherwise tax their limited resources.
We hope that the caravan is something that will continue in the future, and we don't want it to be prohibitively expensive for anyone, so we ask for your help in achieving this goal. All money raised will help the students pay for transportation and accommodation.
We thank you for helping us reach our financial goal so that we may go forth and make the future brighter for women and girls in need.
Students Involved: Alexa Davis, Brittany Roehrs, Kassandra Jordan, Mario Ancic, and Kathryn Roulett
