Help Pebbles walk Again

Pebbles is just under one year. Came to us from Nepal on December 6,2017.She had an accident in her birth country and was left to die. A Good Samaritan took her in and helped her recuperate. She hasn’t had the use of her back legs since but her handicap has not stopped her from moving around and playing with people and dogs.She is really a sweetheart.But she cannot get a breakWhen she arrived she was living with her foster family but her foster mom fell ill and couldn’t take care of her so she was moved to another foster home where she is showing some behaviour concerns and her current foster mom is not equipped to handle.She will hopefully move to her final home very soon.Pebbles had her first vet visit where x-rays were taken and the results were reviewed by an orthopaedic surgeon.She has Legg-Calve-Perthes disease, or LCP, a condition of the hip joint in which bone gradually deteriorates and dies. We will be scheduling her for femoral head and neck ostectomy (FHO) both back legs(8-12 weeks between each operation) once she is settled in her new foster home.Following intense rehab we are hoping that she will be able to walk on her own. This is a long process for little Pebbles and a costly one for the rescue.We are hoping that our followers can contribute to a miracle of seeing Pebbles walk
