CA to Patagonia by Bike Book

On my 35th Birthday I sold my belongings to live on a bicycle and ride from California through Mexico, Guatemala,El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Argentina where I am now,..1 year and 9 months later.
This dream lead to another and I am writing a book of stories from my travel experiences camping in the wild, riding remote mountain passes and the remarkable people who treated like family along the way.
I took this trip in the hope of opening minds to see beyond borders, challenge biased media, encourage women to travel by bike, travel solo, and follow their adventure without fear.
I had anticipated and saved for a year long trip which has become so much more as a bicycle opened to me extraordinary, unique places off any path I knew existed. Experiencing the stories of strangers who became friends has inspired me tremendously to share and to keep riding. I have been been so lucky thanks to my family & friends & readers of my blog www.cyclesouthchica.wordpress.com as well as teaching English in cities along the way. $5 a day keeps me going, often less.
If you are a dreamer, an adventurer at heart, and this is a book you would like to read or know someone who would like to be a part of my journey in writing this book, please spread the word to help me reach the end of Patagonia, I will then return to Peru to teach and live for the next year, writing the story of this journey.
