<div>Onze moeder Blanche, altijd zorgzaam en betrokken, staat voor de grootste strijd van haar leven. Ze heeft de ziekte van Kahler, een agressieve vorm van kanker. Ondanks een zware behandeling in 2025 is de ziekte begin 2026 teruggekeerd, nog agressiever en uitgezaaid. Helaas is hier ook lymfoom bijgekomen, dit is lymfeklierkanker.

<div>Er is nog één kans: CAR-T celtherapie. Deze behandeling wordt in Nederland niet vergoed en kost minimaal €425.000.

<div>Daarom zijn we deze inzamelingsactie gestart. Niet om medelijden te vragen, maar om haar een kans op leven te geven.

<div>Voor deze behandeling is een aanvraag gedaan bij de zorgverzekeraar. Helaas wordt dit medicijn in Nederland op dit moment niet vergoed, omdat het nog in de zogenoemde geneesmiddelensluis zit. Tegelijkertijd zijn we nog in gesprek met advocaten, ze gaan proberen of het mogelijk is om het met onderhandeling uit de sluis te krijgen.

<div>Omdat de behandeling niet kan wachten en we geen kostbare tijd willen verliezen, starten we deze crowdfundingactie. Met jullie hulp hopen we het bedrag bij elkaar te brengen dat nodig is om deze behandeling voor Blanche op korte termijn mogelijk te maken.

<div>Mocht er later alsnog een (gedeeltelijke) vergoeding door de zorgverzekeraar plaatsvinden, dan zal het ingezamelde bedrag worden gebruikt voor overige medische kosten, herstel en ondersteuning tijdens deze moeilijke periode. Ook zullen wij ons inzetten voor andere Nederlandse patiënten die dit medicijn nodig hebben.
