Our journey to becoming parents has been a long road. It took us about 13 years to get our son Karter, and our story was miraculous! God showed up with so much evidence of His hand in our story to specifically get Karter, pointing out His glory and goodness. We couldn't be more thankful for this gift and for our little family!
However, while God-orchestrated, this adoption came up suddenly and unexpectedly to us, and we had used all adoption/IVF funds previously raised on last summer's IVF procedure in the Czech Republic, and on the failed adoption in 2017. This has left us to quickly come up with all the funds to pay off these adoption costs. We have worked diligently in picking up side jobs and overtime in order to get the funds we need, but we have some deadlines fast approaching for which we will need to pay out large amounts in attorney fees, etc. Any little bit you give helps, and it has not only given us the blessing of Karter, but it has given Karter the chance to have a beautiful life with two loving parents. Thank you for your continued prayers and generosity!
