Buyback of my stolen music equipment

Hello everyone,

I know that most campaigns are done for noble, charitable causes. I also know that they are used to finance great projects. To be honest, my request does not fall into those categories. I am not a future film studio creator, nor a charitable patron. I'm just someone who has no choice but to ask for your help.

To introduce myself quickly, I am a final student in psychology research. I don't have a job, due to the difficulties of the current times, but I'm actively looking for one! I got into music to brighten my days. From shy, I became more confident thanks to the latter. I regained my confidence, and much more!  Music has become a passion over the years. Something that gets me up in the morning, and that keeps me awake at night (much to the neighbors' dismay). Over the years, while doing student work, I have been able to accumulate some instruments and materials dear to my eyes (and to my wallet). 3 weeks ago, when I left to see my grandparents, I had my suitcase and all of its contents stolen. My clothes, my papers, and most importantly, my music equipment. I still have my guitar, a gift from my father, who was with me during the trip. The rest are gone.

You obviously see me coming. I can't afford to buy this equipment back. Not for years. I'm lucky to be able to live with my parents, and not yet have to pay any charges. I am therefore clearly not to be pitied. The police haven't found the thief (s), and I scour the resale sites in the hope of finding my stolen equipment (and therefore the thieves). To this day, I still haven't found anything. The police believe that will remain the case. I put aside all the money I can manage to acquire, hoping to save enough money to buy back what I lost, but that's not much compared to the price of the equipment. To give you an idea, I lost a first generation Elektron Octatrack, an Novation Peak (my last acquisition following the money obtained by working in catering, Christmas and internship), a moog Sirin and a Novation Circuit.

I know I have nothing to offer you in return other than my sincere gratitude. No stone engraved with your name, no film with your name in credits. I don't even feel confident enough to put my own music online, and therefore offer you a track, even though my friends tell me that what I'm doing is great. You will only have my gratitude, but I also know that it will be thanks to you that I could start making music again. With each new creation, with each knob turned, cable plugged in, note played, I would remember that thanks to you that I can do it again. I love to make music, and I miss it a lot. Thank you in advance for reading me. I wish you and your loved ones good health.
