$200 is ONE round bale of hay to feed a horse for 2 weeks

A bit of a personal story today....

Still no Grass on our entire Adelaide Hills property..

Been feeding out for more than three times as long as usual for 2x the price.

Anybody want to shout us a round bale.. they're $200 each, usually $80... and usually we need 20 a season not 90!

Every day we are slow feeding our stock to make the hay we can get last as long as possible.

Holiday's cancelled

Car repairs. Delayed

And honestly we're very lucky that our incomes don't rely on the farm..

This time last year everything was green!

If you know a farmer, might want to check in on them and make sure they're OK..

Cause I'm absolutely over it!
