This winter came on hard and fast. And last summer the hay crop was about 60% less than normal. I want to thank you all so very much for helping Roger Rabbit and Moon help their Nokota® friends and family back in North Dakota. It's because of people like you stepping in to help that a future for the Nokota®s is possible. We have two long months of cold, wet weather ahead and still need your help. If any of you who assisted with this effort ever get to North Dakota, please let me know and I would be more than happy to give you a personal tour of the Nokota® herd. Thank you all so very much - Frank Kuntz Nokota are best known for their roots in American history as some of the last wild horses and were revered by Sitting Bull and the Native Lakota people. The Native Lakota adored the Nokota, bringing the horses into their tipis to commune as family. This level of compassion is inherent to the Nokota breed. Learn more about the Nokota's magical history on www.nokotahorseconservancy.org The Nokota Horse touches so many of us as horselover and as human. Please show your love and respect for these magical horses! Join The Nokota Preserve, in Chester Springs, PA and help secure their future with a donation for pasture and hay. .
