UPDATE: I AM NOW FACED WITH THE EXTRA BURIAL EXPENSES OF MY BROTHER THAT I HAD NOT PREPARED FOR!
Tragedy strikes swiftly and with no mercy! My brother who is an army vet suffering from PTSD, recently had his medication changed. This caused him to have hallucinations and see people that were not there or hear things that were not said. Unfortunately before my mother and I could get him help to correct the issue he "lost his mind", his words not mine. He shot and killed our mother and then realizing what a tragic mistake he had made he turned the gun on himself and ended his life. I loved my brother and I believe he wasn't in his right mind. This has left me with not one but two funerals to prepare for. Unfortunately as everyone knows this is a huge expense. As I have one daughter stuck out of state that can not get home. (Update: The daughter made it for her Grandmother's funeral) I am not financially solvent enough to cover all the expenses and find myself in need of assistance. I, Juanita Christine Hopkins, will be in charge of all the final expenses. Please find it in your hearts to help me with these expenses.
