Team 1489A has qualified for the 2014 VEX Robotics World Championship for Middle School by placing 2nd out of 48 teams in the State Competition, AND they won the Judges Excellence Award which is the highest honor. We are launching this fundraising site to send our students from Virginia to California! The VEX Robotics World Championship brings together top robotics teams to celebrate their accomplishments and compete with and against the best teams from around the world. team from Prince William County, VA will compete and be in alliances with teams from China, Singapore, Bahrain, Mexico and many other countries and states. You support will help pay travel expenses, entry fees and provide an opportunity for a school club to interact and compete with students around the world!
