The Dey Leadership Academy is a K-12 School that is being built in Ghana. Through the leadership of Dr. Carl Dey, in memory of his father Carlos Sylvanus Dey, the Academy is being created from the ground-up with an elite set of business executives using principles and approaches to create a world-class institution. The business executives leading the design and establishment of this are all executive MBA students at MIT and are working together to design an innovative institution for children that develops world leaders with a focus on public and community service.

Our fundraising efforts are all to support the building of the school and is broken down into several phases.
Phase 0: We have purchased the land in Accra, Ghana - **COMPLETE**
Phase 1: Establishing the team in Ghana. Under the management of Dr. Dey the team will be established that will take the Dey Academy design and finalize the construction plans for the school. The team will work with the local community, architect and developers to break ground and initiate the talent sourcing process for school personnel.
After phase 1, we will then move into the next phases that include the school construction phase, playground, recreation and sports areas. Final phases will include fitting out the classrooms, finalizing hiring of staff and then creating the scholarship fund.
Your contributions will help us deliver on our vision, launching the Dey with the best professors, curriculum, and facilities in Accra, Ghana
