BuildinGUATE Dental Clinic

My goal is to bring a dental clinic to the families at the land of hope in Esquintla Guamemala.  BuildinGUATE  had been praying for a dental team. When I met them on the youth 2016 mission trip It was put on my hear that to help them.  When I refer to the people as enslaved to the municipal trash dump, I don't think it adequately portrays the severity of their dependency. I have attached a video from several years back. It shows What was happening when this organization first started.  There is graphic footage of the conditions the people live in. BuildinGUATE is now a christian organization and are growing so rapidly.  They now have an electrified medical missions building, a well with a state of the art UV water filtration system donated by servants heart ministries. They have been holding small health clinics already but have never had a dental team. On my second trip to guatemala to  scout the needs of the population, I examined several children who were riddled with decay and painful abscesses. Due to their cultural sugar dependency and lack of finances they have many dental issue and no access to help. I believe it is our privlidge to help and protect the children of the community there. Our children have a right to basic dental needs and a goverment that will enforce and protect that basic right.  But, They have no one to do that except for us.
I am bringing a self supported team of dental personel february 2018, but we need equipment. Dental equipment is not cheap. The money you raise will go to get a dental chair and operating unit with attached pump and suction for any short term missionary dentist or hygienist  to plug in and go at any time.
