<div>Help Build DRVU (pronounced "drive-you") — A Fairer Rideshare for Everyone
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>DRVU™ started with a simple idea:</strong>
</div>
<div>What if rideshare could actually be fair for everyone involved?
</div>
<div>Fair for the passenger paying for the ride.
</div>
<div>Fair for the driver doing the work.
</div>
<div>Fair for the businesses trying to serve their customers.
</div>
<div>And sustainable enough to keep improving without putting profits ahead of people.
</div>
<div>That idea has grown into something real.
</div>
<div>DRVU is being built as another rideshare option with a different philosophy from the beginning:
</div>
<div>Passengers Pay Less, Drivers Earn More.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ve personally funded practically all of DRVU’s development and operational expenses to this point. I’ve done that because I believe strongly in what DRVU can become, and because I want to protect the principles it was built around.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But there is still a lot of work ahead, and bringing a rideshare and delivery platform to the public comes with significant ongoing operational costs.
</div>
<div>That is why I’m asking the community for help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why community funding matters</strong>
</div>
<div>I do not want DRVU to become dependent on investors whose primary goal is maximizing profits, increasing market share, or eventually squeezing more money out of every ride and delivery.
</div>
<div>Because when profitability becomes the only priority, someone usually ends up paying for it.
</div>
<div>Passengers pay more.
</div>
<div>Drivers earn less.
</div>
<div>Businesses get charged more fees.
</div>
<div>That is not what I want DRVU to become.
</div>
<div>I would rather DRVU receive support from the passengers, drivers, businesses, families, and communities that could ultimately benefit from having another choice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What makes DRVU different</strong>
</div>
<div>DRVU is being designed around transparency and fairness.
</div>
<div>No surge pricing.
</div>
<div>Passengers should not have to wonder whether their fare suddenly doubled simply because they happened to need a ride at the wrong time.
</div>
<div>Drivers can earn from 60% up to 85% of the pre-tax fare.
</div>
<div>DRVU’s driver model is designed to reward drivers as they continue completing trips and building their history on the platform.
</div>
<div>That also means DRVU’s normal service share can decrease from 40% down to just 15% as a Driver progresses through the earning structure.
</div>
<div>Passengers and Drivers will both see the numbers.
</div>
<div>DRVU is being built so both sides can see the fare, DRVU service charges, applicable GET, and the Driver’s pre-tax payout from the fare.
</div>
<div>Why show the Driver’s payout to the Passenger?
</div>
<div>Because transparency creates accountability.
</div>
<div>I want passengers and drivers to be able to see that DRVU is not secretly changing percentages, manipulating the split, or taking more from a ride than what we say we are taking.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Businesses deserve fairness too</strong>
</div>
<div>Delivery platforms commonly charge businesses a service fee for using their platform while also charging the customer a delivery fee.
</div>
<div>Those costs can add up quickly, especially for local and independent businesses already operating on tight margins.
</div>
<div>DRVU wants to take a different approach.
</div>
<div>Rather than charging businesses an additional platform service fee and then also collecting a separate delivery charge from the customer, DRVU applies its normal service structure to the delivery.
</div>
<div>That service share starts at 40% and can decrease all the way to 15% as the Driver earns up to an 85% share.
</div>
<div>In other words, DRVU does not want to create another layer of fees simply because a business is involved.
</div>
<div>The goal is to help businesses reach their customers while keeping the model straightforward, transparent, and sustainable for everyone involved.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why I’m asking now</strong>
</div>
<div>DRVU has come a long way, but there is still much more that needs to be completed before this vision can operate at the level I want it to.
</div>
<div>Technology, infrastructure, compliance, operations, testing, safety, services, and the many pieces required to run a real transportation and delivery platform all carry costs.
</div>
<div>Until now, practically all of those costs have been coming directly out of my pocket.
</div>
<div>I’m committed to continuing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But if DRVU is going to remain independent and stay true to the principles it was created around, community support can make an enormous difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraiser is not about making DRVU into the next giant corporation.
</div>
<div>It is about giving DRVU the opportunity to become another choice.
</div>
<div>Another choice for a passenger trying to save money.
</div>
<div>Another choice for a driver who deserves a larger share of what their work earns.
</div>
<div>Another choice for a local business that is already dealing with enough fees.
</div>
<div>And another example that maybe a company does not have to squeeze every possible dollar out of the people using it in order to succeed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Help us build something different</strong>
</div>
<div>If you believe passengers deserve fairer fares…
</div>
<div>If you believe drivers deserve to keep more of what they earn…
</div>
<div>If you believe businesses deserve relief from excessive platform fees…
</div>
<div>Or if you simply believe people deserve another option…
</div>
<div>Please consider supporting DRVU.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution helps us continue building, testing, improving, and moving closer to bringing DRVU to the community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And if you are unable to contribute, sharing this fundraiser can help just as much by introducing DRVU to someone who believes in what we are trying to build.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>DRVU is still growing.</strong>
</div>
<div>There is still a lot of work ahead.
</div>
<div>But the mission will remain the same:
</div>
<div>Passengers Pay Less, Drivers Earn More.
</div>
<div>Thank you for believing that rideshare can be done differently.
