Angie's Surgery and Treatment

Hello everyone,

There has been so much that has happened over the last several weeks of our lives.  After Angie's abnormal screening mammogram on March 30th, three other diagnostic tests were recommended. An MRI and two separate biopsies confirm that Angie has breast cancer: invasive ductal carcinoma.

We have met with two surgeons and an oncologist to determine what the best course of treatment is.

Angie will have surgery (bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction)  on Wednesday May 16th at 7:30am and will begin chemo 3-4 weeks later.

She'll receive two IV chemo drugs: one for 12 weeks and the other for 12-14 months. After those are completed she'll take a hormone inhibitor for 5 years.

We have a long road ahead we would very much appreciate both your financial support (every little bit helps) and many prayers for a safe and effective treatment!!

We have felt God's presence throughout this process and wait anxiously to see how he'll answer our prayers exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or imagine. We are so thankful for His promise to be with us: To Never Leave or Forsake Us.  We don't know how we would persevere without Him!
