Sitting by your partner watching them sleep. Kissing them everytime like its the last time. Holding them when they are in pain. Sounds like a love story. Unfortunately it's not the begining of the story or the middle. My uncle does this everyday and everynight. He has done this for over 20 years. Sadley now he watches her sleep because he is scared she may not wake up. He kisses her like its the last time because it just might be. He holds her all the time because she is always in pain.
My aunt is fighting cancer for the third time. She has lost weight and cannot eat. She needs nutrition packs to keep her going. She has thrown up blood. Most of her time is spent sleeping. Cancer is a tough fight. It's not one that can be won by herself. It takes a team. It takes medicine. It takes painfull treatments. It takes lots of time. It takes love and support. It takes help from friends, family, and even complete strangers. We need your help. My aunt Kim is one of the strongest fighters there is, but this 3rd round of cancer is knocking her down.
My uncle Bruce has been giving everything he has. He will not leave her side. He takes her to every specialist. He buys her everything and anything that will help her get better. Unfortunately They do not have the funds to do this. There is another ugly side to cancer. It drains you and your loved ones of everything. He has spent every dollar he has on her. He has maxed out all his credit cards. He is taking time off of work because he needs to be by her side. He looks exhausted all the time but never quits. He needs your help. She may not have much time left, but the bills will not go away.
Insurance has ran out. Medicine and cancer doctors are not cheap. On top of that rent and regular bills are overdue. They really need your help.
